Welcome to Kumchop Restaurant. By browsing kumchop.com.ng (“the Site”) or placing an order with us, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

1. About Us

Kumchop Restaurant prepares freshly cooked Nigerian meals, including rice dishes, swallow, soups, proteins, snacks, and meal packs, for delivery or pickup.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old, or use the Site under the supervision of a parent or guardian. You confirm that the details you give us (name, phone number, delivery address) are accurate.

3. Placing Orders

  • Orders are subject to acceptance and availability. We may decline or cancel an order in cases of suspected fraud, pricing errors, or when an item is sold out.
  • Your order is confirmed once you receive a confirmation from us by email, SMS, or WhatsApp.
  • Please double-check your items, delivery address, and phone number before submitting. We are not responsible for delays or failed delivery caused by incorrect details.
  • Menu items, meal packs, descriptions, and prices may change without prior notice.

4. Prices and Payment

  • All prices are in Nigerian Naira (₦). Delivery fees, if any, are shown at checkout.
  • We accept the following payment methods: Bank transfer (offline payment), Pay on Delivery (cash or transfer), and [add any online payment options].
  • Bank transfer orders: Transfer to the account details shown at checkout, use your order number as the payment reference, and send proof of payment via WhatsApp. Preparation begins once payment is confirmed. Unpaid orders may be cancelled after 24 hours.
  • Pay on Delivery: Payment is due in full when your order arrives.
  • If a pricing error occurs on the Site, we may correct it and cancel and refund any affected order.

5. Delivery and Pickup

  • Delivery is available within our coverage areas, which are shown at checkout. Delivery times are estimates and may be affected by traffic, weather, or high order volume.
  • Delivery hours: 1-2 hours.
  • Someone must be available to receive the order at the address provided. If we cannot reach you after reasonable attempts, the order may be treated as delivered and is not refundable.
  • For pickup, collect your order at [Medoline Street, Opposite Bovas Filling Station, Akungba Akoko, Ondo State, Nigeria] within the stated pickup window. Uncollected orders may be forfeited without refund.

6. Cancellations and Refunds

  • You may cancel free of charge before preparation starts. Once cooking has begun, cancellation is not possible.
  • Because food is perishable, refunds are only available where the order was wrong, items were missing, the food arrived spoiled or unsafe, or the order was not delivered due to our error.
  • Report any issue within 24 hours of receiving your order, with your order number and photos where possible, via [WhatsApp/email].
  • Approved refunds are made as a replacement, store credit, or payment to your original method within 24 hours.

7. Food Quality, Allergens, and Dietary Information

  • Our kitchen handles ingredients such as fish, shellfish, nuts, gluten, dairy, eggs, and spices. Cross-contamination is possible.
  • If you have a food allergy or intolerance, contact us before ordering. We are not liable for reactions caused by allergies we were not told about.
  • Photos and descriptions are for illustration; portions, appearance, and spice levels may vary slightly.
  • Hot food should be consumed soon after delivery. We are not responsible for food quality once it has been left unattended or stored improperly.

8. Bulk and Event Orders

Catering, party, and large orders may require advance notice, a deposit, and separate cancellation terms, which will be agreed with you at the time of booking. To make a booking, call 08067730012.

9. User Accounts

If you create an account, you are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for all activity under your account. Tell us immediately if you suspect unauthorized use.

10. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Site unlawfully, submit false or fraudulent information, attempt unauthorized access to our systems, or disrupt the Site’s operation.

11. Intellectual Property

All content on the Site, including the Kumchop name, logo, images, text, and design, belongs to Kumchop Restaurant or its licensors. You may not copy, reproduce, or use it without our written permission.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by Nigerian law, Kumchop Restaurant is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of the Site or our products. Our total liability for any claim relating to an order will not exceed the amount you paid for that order. Nothing in these Terms limits your statutory consumer rights.

13. Privacy

How we collect and use your personal information is explained in our Privacy Policy, in line with the Nigeria Data Protection Regulation (NDPR).

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Updated versions are posted on this page with a new “Last updated” date. Continued use of the Site means you accept the changes.

15. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, and disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of Nigerian courts.
